Privacy Policy
ShopSphere LLC · Last updated 27 August 2026
ShopSphere is an invite-only lead inbox for businesses. There is no public signup. This policy covers the ShopSphere web app, including Facebook, Instagram, and Threads data we receive through Meta's official APIs, LinkedIn data through LinkedIn's official APIs (Marketing Developer Platform / Community Management), and public web links returned by Google Custom Search.
What we collect
- Account email and name for people an Admin invites.
- Public posts and comments from platforms we are allowed to read (for example Reddit, YouTube, Google Business, Meta Graph Pages/Groups you authorize, Meta Ad Library, LinkedIn public post search when we have an approved LinkedIn API token).
- Contact details that already appear in public post text (email or phone). That is part of the product so a business can follow up. We do not buy or scrape private inboxes.
- Google Custom Search may return a public title and snippet for indexed Facebook URLs. We strip emails, phones, and profile links from those snippets. A person's name can still appear if it is in the public snippet.
What we do not collect from Meta
Facebook Graph ingest does not store author names or profile URLs. We do not use Facebook Login for public visitors. If a customer later connects a Meta account, we may store their Meta user id only to honour a deletion request.
How long we keep it
Lead records that still contain contact details are anonymized after 90 days(name, email, phone, post body, and notes are cleared). Admins can delete a lead sooner if someone asks to be removed.
We read public posts only through LinkedIn's official APIs after product approval. We do not scrape LinkedIn. We do not store other members' profile names or profile URLs from those posts (LinkedIn Marketing API storage rules). Post text that already contains an email or phone may be kept as a lead, then anonymized after 90 days. If you connected LinkedIn to ShopSphere (or you are an invited user), you can request deletion at Data deletion status or POST to /api/linkedin/deletion with your email. We then anonymize campaign leads we can tie to that account.
Meta data deletion
If you remove ShopSphere from Facebook Settings, Meta calls our callback at /api/meta/deletion. We verify the request, anonymize data we can tie to that Meta user id, and give you a confirmation code. Check status at Data deletion status.
Who sees data
Only invited users: admins see the workspace; agents see assigned leads; clients see their own campaigns. The database is not publicly readable.
Contact
For access or deletion, email the ShopSphere administrator who invited you, use Facebook's Remove App flow, or the LinkedIn deletion form on the status page.
